A 52-year-old British tourist tragically passed away shortly after checking into a hotel on Caye Caulker island in Belize. The man had just arrived at the Casa Vista Hotel when neighbors heard a loud noise emanating from his room. Concerned, they found him unconscious on the ground and swiftly transported him to the Caye Caulker Health Center.
Despite medical efforts, the man succumbed to his injuries later that day. Authorities have initiated an investigation into the circumstances surrounding his untimely death. Officer Stacy Smith of the Caye Caulker formation confirmed that witnesses reported hearing a noise before discovering the man injured on the ground.
The exact cause of the man’s injuries remains unclear. This incident follows another recent case where a British national was found deceased on the Mediterranean island of Malta.
