Luke Littler is gearing up for his first PDC World Darts Championship defense against Darius Labanauskas at Alexandra Palace next month. The draw for the tournament was recently conducted.
Having clinched the 2025 world championship by defeating Michael van Gerwen at Ally Pally in January, the 18-year-old Littler has since claimed victories in the UK Open, World Matchplay, World Grand Prix, Grand Slam of Darts, and Players Championship, among other accolades.
Following his recent ascent to the top ranking spot last week, the young talent, known as ‘The Nuke,’ is in stellar form as he prepares to defend his World Championship title in the upcoming event.
In the revamped 128-player tournament, Littler will face off against Lithuanian No.1 Labanauskas in the first round. The draw also features other exciting matchups, including Luke Humphries against Ted Evetts, Michael van Gerwen versus Mitsohiko Tatsunami, and Beau Greaves set to take on Daryl Gurney.
