Some fraudulent posts claim insider information about Aldi offering meat boxes for under $10 to individuals over 40. Clicking on these posts redirects users to fake websites where they are prompted to disclose personal and financial details, including payment card information.
Although the scam has mainly targeted people in Australia and the Netherlands, UK consumers are also advised to exercise vigilance.
