“Sky Mobile Subscribers to Face £1.50 Monthly Bill Increase in February”

Must Read

Millions of Sky Mobile subscribers will experience an increase in their monthly bills starting next month following a recent announcement. The majority of customers can anticipate a £1.50 per month hike, totaling £18 annually, although some individuals may see varied adjustments.

Beginning February 14, 2026, customers will notice the revised pricing on their bills. This adjustment is the first price amendment for in-contract clients by Sky Mobile in over seven years. Subscribers dissatisfied with the increase and within the minimum contract term have the option to cancel without incurring early termination fees.

While standard pricing is set to rise, the cost of the Sky Mobile social tariff, tailored for individuals with lower incomes, will remain unchanged. The adjustment is attributed to escalating wholesale network expenses, with affected customers being notified promptly.

A spokesperson from Sky Mobile explained that to maintain the expected quality, service, and value, most customers will face a £1.50 monthly increment starting in February. The decision reflects industry-wide cost pressures, enabling continued investments in network infrastructure and enhancing customer experience.

In a similar vein, O2 disclosed that nearly all mobile and SIM-only contract customers will witness a £2.50 monthly bill increase from April 2026, up from the initially planned £1.80 rise. Furthermore, Three mobile users opting for data plans of 4GB or less will face a £1.80 monthly increase from April 2026, an 80p surge compared to the current £1 increment.

Customers selecting plans ranging from 4GB to 100GB will experience a £1.90 monthly rise, while those with over 100GB will encounter a £2.30 increase per month. Three broadband customers are set to see a £3.50 monthly escalation starting April 2026.

Vodafone mobile users engaging in deals from November 12 will witness a £2.50 monthly increase, with Basics SIM plan holders facing a £1.50 rise. Vodafone broadband subscribers will confront a £3.50 monthly hike. Existing Vodafone or Three broadband and mobile contract holders will experience price adjustments in accordance with their agreed terms.
