A mother is investing around £2,000 monthly in anti-aging treatments, leading people to mistake her for her 18-year-old daughter’s sibling due to the benefits of oxygen chambers and light therapy. Tracy Kiss, a 38-year-old enthusiast of biohacking, decided to make a change after feeling like she appeared like an ’80-year-old’ and ‘worn out’ at the age of 25.
Being a single mother of two children, Tracy was experiencing physical discomfort and struggled to walk without feeling lightheaded. To address this, she significantly increased her daily calorie intake to over 3,000 and began weight training every day.
Following completion of various courses related to well-being and aesthetics, Tracy transitioned to biohacking techniques, opting for blood filtration, oxygen chamber treatments, and light therapy instead of relying on fillers and Botox for over a decade.
Expressing her satisfaction with the results, Tracy mentions feeling rejuvenated and often being mistaken for her daughter’s peer, leading to her being frequently asked for ID. She allocates up to £2,000 monthly for her treatments, averaging £1,000 monthly.
A resident of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, Tracy shared, “Biohacking is akin to a new lease on life. I regenerate my cells to maintain a naturally youthful appearance.” Emphasizing the importance of self-love, she added, “I aim to embody the change I wish to see. While many rely on cosmetic enhancements, I have focused on rejuvenating from within, resulting in a natural radiance.”
Tracy highlighted her physical strength, mentioning her ability to engage in various activities like hiking, weightlifting, and climbing trees, which surprises many who perceive her to be much younger than her actual age. She described the transformative effect biohacking has had on her, enabling her to outperform individuals of a similar age physically.
Struggling with burnout after the birth of her 13-year-old son in 2012, Tracy was diagnosed with Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome, a group of genetic connective tissue disorders that affect her tolerance for certain foods. Despite initial challenges with fainting spells from minimal physical exertion, Tracy’s determination to become mentally and physically stronger led her to adopt a vegan diet focused on curry, rice, porridge, and protein shakes, along with embracing bodybuilding and mindfulness practices.
Transitioning away from Botox and fillers in her early 20s, Tracy expressed concerns over the long-term effects of such treatments and their impact on facial aging. She underscored the potential risks associated with fillers and Botox, cautioning against their prolonged use.
To revitalize her body, Tracy turned to biohacking, incorporating red-light therapy sauna sessions, oxygen chamber visits, and LED therapy. She also underwent EBOO blood filtration sessions to detoxify her blood, which significantly improved her physical performance at the gym. Tracy highlighted the benefits of herbal teas, mushroom coffee, and adaptogen supplements in enhancing her energy levels, likening biohacking to nourishing plants for optimal growth.
Tracy’s holistic approach to wellness underscores her belief in enhancing the body’s natural processes rather than relying on quick fixes, ultimately leading to a rejuvenated and energized lifestyle.
