Must Read

Apple has rolled out a crucial update for new iPhone users to address a wireless charging issue that some are experiencing. This glitch is hindering certain devices from being wirelessly charged, forcing affected users to resort to MagSafe wireless charging instead.

Although Apple notes that only a small number of users are impacted, it is still recommended for all iPhone owners to ensure their devices are running the latest software update.

The iPhone 17 lineup, including the Pro and Pro Max models, as well as the iPhone Air, have been identified as the devices needing the update to resolve the charging problem.

To update your device, navigate to Settings, then General, and select Software Update. Look for the iOS 26.5.1 update, and choose to install it immediately or schedule the update for nighttime. It’s essential to have a Wi-Fi connection or ample mobile data as the update is a substantial 13.6GB file.

Apple enthusiasts can also look forward to the upcoming WWDC Developers Conference, starting on June 8, where the company is anticipated to unveil the new iOS 27 upgrade. This upgrade promises to introduce a host of new features, potentially enhancing the devices’ intelligence and AI capabilities.

Susan Prescott, Apple’s vice president of Worldwide Developer Relations, expressed excitement for the event, highlighting the collaborative and innovative nature of WWDC. Mirror Online will provide real-time updates from the WWDC event, scheduled to commence at 6pm BST.
