Darts Prodigy Luke Littler Teases £50 Million Jungle Bid

Must Read

Luke Littler jokingly mentioned that he might entertain the idea of participating in the I’m a Celebrity jungle if a substantial £50 million offer was presented, despite being put off by this year’s show. The 18-year-old darts prodigy has been closely following the current season to support his friend, Angry Ginge, whose appearance on the popular ITV program sparked rumors about Littler’s potential involvement.

When asked about the possibility of following in Ginge’s footsteps, Littler responded, “Perhaps, if the price is right. I could consider it for a short period.” However, he has now elaborated on the specific amount that would sway his decision but seems less enthusiastic about joining the hosts Ant and Dec in the jungle.

In a recent interview with talkSPORT, Littler expressed his reluctance, stating, “Initially, I said I’d be willing if the offer was tempting, but witnessing the extreme challenges on the show, I’ve had a change of heart. I don’t think I could handle it.” When questioned about accepting £10 million, he declined, but when the sum was raised to a staggering £50 million, he hesitantly replied, “maybe.”

He further explained his reservations by mentioning his aversion to snakes and similar challenges in the jungle. Despite his humorous remark about potentially flying over, he emphasized that it was unlikely. Meanwhile, as Angry Ginge prepares for upcoming trials, Littler is gearing up to defend his title at the PDC World Darts Championship at Ally Pally next month. Having clinched the world championship last year as the youngest champion in darting history, he returns as the newly crowned world No 1, aiming to replicate Gary Anderson’s feat of retaining the Sid Waddell trophy after a decade.

Littler’s quest to defend his title commences with a first-round match against Darius Labanauskas on December 11.
