Luke Littler has made it clear that he has no intention of joining his friend Angry Ginge in the jungle following the YouTuber’s victory on a reality TV show. Angry Ginge, whose real name is Morgan Burtwistle, emerged as the winner of “I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here” on Sunday, receiving congratulations from Littler, a darts champion. Despite initial contemplation for the right price, Littler has firmly decided against subjecting himself to the challenges of bushtucker trials.
The 18-year-old dart player from Warrington expressed his reluctance to partake in eating unconventional foods like kangaroo anus or crocodile genitalia while being far away from home. Reflecting on the show’s gruesome challenges, Littler emphasized his firm stance against participating in such trials, especially after witnessing the ordeals faced by other contestants.
Burtwistle, 24, claimed the title of King of the Jungle after spending three weeks in the Australian rainforest, with Tom Read Wilson as the runner-up and Eastenders actress Shona McGarty in third place. In the final bushtucker trial, Angry Ginge endured various challenges, including snakes and critters in a task called Helmet of Hell, while Read Wilson consumed camel’s brain and pig’s reproductive organ.
To celebrate his friend’s success, Littler attended a football match between Manchester United and Wolves, where he was captured on TV cameras alongside the head of fan engagement for Manchester United, Rick McGagh. United’s captain, Bruno Fernandes, acknowledged Littler’s presence at the match through a tweet, adding a darts emoji in response to Littler’s mention of enjoying his “first away day” experience.
