“AppleCare One Launches in UK: Multi-Device Protection Simplified”

Must Read

AppleCare One, a subscription service for multiple Apple devices, has been launched in the UK following its debut in the US. Priced at £16.99 per month, AppleCare One covers up to three eligible devices such as iPhones, iPads, Macs, and Apple Watches. In case of accidental damage, loss, or theft, Apple offers repair services or up to three replacement devices per year based on the claim type.

This new service expands on AppleCare+, providing unlimited accidental damage repairs, battery servicing, and 24/7 priority Apple support. The key advantage of AppleCare One is the ability to protect multiple products under a single subscription, potentially leading to significant cost savings. Apple estimates that users covering an iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch could save up to £11.48 per month compared to individual AppleCare+ plans for each device.

Notably, AppleCare One allows customers to add eligible devices up to four years old as long as they are in good condition, in contrast to the usual 60-day limit for purchasing AppleCare+ after device acquisition. This flexibility enables users to protect their existing devices without time constraints.

Moreover, the subscription seamlessly adjusts when upgrading devices. When a covered device is traded in for a new one from Apple, the old device is automatically removed from the plan, and the new device is added without any additional steps. This feature ensures a hassle-free transition for users.

Apple’s Vice President of Worldwide Product Marketing, Bob Borchers, emphasized the customer-centric approach of AppleCare One, offering simplified and flexible protection for eligible products. With AppleCare One, customers in the UK can now benefit from the comprehensive coverage of AppleCare+ through a convenient single plan, ensuring peace of mind for all their devices.
