Must Read

Apple has commenced its annual WWDC Developers Conference at its futuristic headquarters in Cupertino. The tech giant is unveiling iOS 27, the successor to iOS 26, set to launch in the Fall. The new operating system will introduce enhancements such as customizable Liquid Glass visuals, improved file navigation, and an advanced Siri capable of tasks like email composition, event creation, and ticket booking for events.

A new feature called CPU Scheduler will optimize older iPhones for improved responsiveness. Overall, Apple promises faster performance across devices, with up to 30% faster app launches on iPhones and iPads, 70% quicker photo loading, and 80% faster AirDrop transfers.

Parents will benefit from a new set of family-friendly features for managing children’s device usage, including content control, communication restrictions, and time management tools like “Ask to Browse” and “Time Allowances.”

Apple’s focus on empowering users while prioritizing safety is evident in these updates, according to Sumbul Desai, Apple’s vice president of Health and Fitness. The company aims to assist families in establishing age-appropriate protections and promoting healthy digital habits.

Although Apple is still finalizing the complete list of changes, it guarantees that all devices currently running iOS 26 will be compatible with iOS 27. The compatible devices include a range from iPhone 11 to iPhone SE (3rd generation).
