According to WhatsApp, the new features are now being gradually released to users and will be available on devices in the coming weeks. The latest update introduces four key features to enhance the user experience:
1. Improved Storage Management: Users can now easily view and delete large files directly from chats to free up space without losing the entire conversation. By selecting “Manage Storage” under the chat name, users can choose to clear media files while retaining message history.
2. Cross-Platform Chat Transfers: The new WhatsApp chat transfer tool allows seamless migration of messages, photos, and videos from iOS to Android, in addition to transfers within the same platform, simplifying the process of switching phones.
3. Dual Account Support on iOS: iOS users can now stay logged in to two WhatsApp accounts simultaneously, similar to the feature available on Android. This functionality enables users to keep work and personal accounts separate, with profile photos displayed in the bottom tab for easy identification.
4. Mood-Enhancing Stickers: WhatsApp now suggests sticker options based on the emojis users type, allowing them to quickly swap emojis for stickers that match their mood, adding a personalized touch to messages.
