A taxi driver in Mississippi miraculously survived a horrifying incident when she was shot seven times by a customer but the bullets got stuck in her fat, saving her life. Brandy Littrell, 40, was on duty for Lyft when she was kidnapped and shot by Dontarius Magee, 20, during a ride in 2021.
Magee forced Brandy to hand over her belongings and drove her to a secluded area where he shot her multiple times. Despite the brutal attack, Brandy managed to seek help and was rushed to the hospital. Doctors discovered that the bullets had not hit any vital organs but had lodged in her fat, preventing fatal injuries.
Following the incident, Magee fled the scene but was later apprehended by the police. Brandy, after a traumatic recovery, faced Magee in court in April 2025. Magee pleaded guilty to several charges, including attempted murder, armed robbery, carjacking, and kidnapping, and was sentenced to 30 years in prison.
Throughout the ordeal, Brandy endured physical and emotional scars, expressing her disappointment at Magee’s lack of remorse. Despite the hardships, she remains grateful to have survived the harrowing attack.
