“Sky Users Upset as ITVX App Skips to End”

Must Read

Some Sky customers are facing an annoying issue with the popular ITVX app. Complaints started surfacing last week about episodes randomly skipping to the end, abruptly cutting off viewers’ watching experience without any manual input.

Expressing frustration on Sky’s forum page, a user named Dazzasky mentioned the continuous problem of ITV Player fast-forwarding to the episode’s conclusion, making it challenging to enjoy shows for the past few days.

Another user, Dawn, also shared her experience of ITVX programs suddenly jumping to the end, particularly at the start or right after ad breaks, disrupting the viewing flow.

The glitch seems to be impacting users with Sky’s online devices like Sky Stream boxes and Glass TVs. While it remains uncertain if Sky Q is affected, most complaints are from users with broadband-connected devices rather than traditional satellite setups.

Although the cause of the issue is unknown, a Sky representative named Kev has acknowledged the problem online and assured users that they are collaborating with ITV to resolve the issue promptly.

In a forum post, Kev expressed gratitude for users highlighting the issue and confirmed that the support teams are actively working on a fix in coordination with ITV. Updates on the progress will be provided as soon as more information becomes available.

For the time being, users may have to endure the skipping problem, but a solution is in the works to address the technical glitch. Further updates on the situation will be provided by Mirror Online once new information is released.
