“Kim Kardashian’s Brain Aneurysm Linked to Kanye West Divorce Stress”

Must Read

A recent MRI scan discovered a small aneurysm in the brain of Kim Kardashian, which medical professionals linked to the stress stemming from her divorce with Kanye West.

During the season seven premiere of The Kardashians, the 45-year-old reality TV personality disclosed this information to her sister, Kourtney Kardashian, 46. Kim expressed, “They found a little aneurysm,” prompting a surprised reaction from Kourtney.

The episode depicted Kim undergoing an MRI scan at a medical facility, with images of her brain appearing on a screen. In a subsequent scene, she became emotional while discussing the situation over the phone, questioning the reasons behind it.

Kim also reflected on the strain of her marriage and subsequent divorce from Kanye West, attributing these factors to her distressing health condition.

According to the NHS, an aneurysm is an abnormal bulging of a blood vessel in the brain. When ruptured, it can result in severe internal bleeding and pose life-threatening risks. Typically, small unruptured aneurysms are monitored through regular check-ups rather than immediate surgical intervention.

Most brain aneurysms are asymptomatic and are often incidentally discovered during diagnostic procedures, similar to Kim’s case.

If a larger aneurysm is present, symptoms such as severe headaches may manifest, and in the event of a rupture, a subarachnoid hemorrhage can occur.

Treatment is generally unnecessary for small asymptomatic brain aneurysms as they tend to remain stable and have a low likelihood of rupturing. In such instances, regular follow-up scans are recommended to monitor any changes in the aneurysm.

In cases where there is a significant risk of rupture or if the aneurysm has already burst, surgical intervention becomes necessary. The primary surgical options will be discussed by the surgeon with the patient, outlining potential risks and benefits of each procedure.

Both surgical procedures are performed under general anesthesia to ensure the patient is unconscious and does not experience any pain during the operation.

While the exact cause of brain aneurysms remains unclear, several factors can elevate the risk, including genetic predisposition and high blood pressure.
