Amusingly, Mr. Bujupi credited his daughter’s sweet tooth for the fortunate turn of events, joking about her persuasive skills in getting him to buy the ticket. The prize of £524,043.10 now allows the family to fulfill their dream of visiting New York. His wife, Abbey, initially taken aback while cleaning, received the thrilling news from her husband to book the trip to New York after his win.
The family shared a moment of disbelief and merriment upon realizing their newfound wealth, particularly when informing their skeptical 12-year-old son, who needed proof from The National Lottery app to believe their win. Valdet and Abbey also treated their children to a visit to the London Eye as part of their celebrations, with plans for further assistance to Valdet’s mother in Kosovo to enhance her quality of life.
