A video captured the moment a delivery driver was seen tossing parcels into a van while wearing a bright fluorescent vest. The driver was observed throwing packages into a white Ford Transit, with one almost falling back out due to the overcrowded space.
Onlookers in north London were shocked by the careless actions of the unidentified courier, parked on Camden High Street. Witnesses expressed disbelief at the lack of care shown by the worker, with one remarking on the casual handling of the parcels.
In a separate incident, an Evri driver was caught on CCTV carelessly handling parcels outside homes in St Stephen, Cornwall. Footage showed two individuals throwing packages onto the ground and piling them on top of each other, including pushing parcels with their feet.
A resident who witnessed the incident expressed frustration at the disrespectful behavior of the substitute delivery drivers. Despite the chaos, the parcels remained undamaged, but the resident noted the lack of professionalism and rudeness displayed by one of the drivers when approached.
Following the incidents, a spokesperson for Evri emphasized that such behavior does not align with the company’s standards. The courier responsible has been terminated from the company, with assurances that the majority of their couriers uphold high standards of service.
