Virgin Media users who subscribe to Sky Entertainment channels will receive Sky Atlantic for free starting next month. This update will be available to Virgin TV 360 and Stream box customers on screens from April 1. To access Sky Atlantic programming, customers can simply tune in to channel 111 on the Virgin TV platform. Content will also be accessible on-demand and through Virgin TV Go.
David Bouchier, Chief TV and Entertainment Officer at Virgin Media O2, emphasized the value of offering seamless entertainment by adding Sky Atlantic to Virgin TV without any extra cost or action required. This move grants over a million Virgin TV customers access to compelling drama and stories from the UK and the US.
Meanwhile, Sky has introduced a new Ultimate TV plan that includes premium channels such as Disney+, Netflix, Hayu, and the upcoming HBO Max app, priced at £24. This plan will be available on Sky Glass, Sky Stream, and Sky Q platforms. Sophia Ahmad, Sky’s Chief Consumer Officer, described this update as a “new era,” combining Sky, Netflix, Disney+, HBO Max, and Hayu into a single subscription.
These developments showcase the ongoing efforts by Virgin Media and Sky to enhance their entertainment offerings for customers.
