Greggs has officially announced the anticipated return of its Festive Bake, with fans eagerly awaiting its arrival. The bakery chain has disclosed that its Christmas menu will debut in stores on November 6. The Festive Bake, a popular item, consists of chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, and is topped with a creamy sage and cranberry sauce.
According to Greggs, the Festive Bake is a staple that marks the start of the Christmas season, much like receiving socks in your stocking or attending a lively office party. It has become a must-have item during the holiday period.
In addition to the Festive Bake, the Vegan Lattice (Festive Edition) will also make a comeback nationwide. This vegan option includes Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing, vegan bacon, and is finished with cranberry and red onion sauce.
The Hot Christmas Lunch Baguette, designed for on-the-go convenience, offers a portable Christmas dinner experience with its combination of chicken, sage and onion stuffing, bacon, melted cheddar, cranberry relish, and onion gravy.
The Hot Festive Flatbread is another returning favorite, featuring sage and onion chicken mayo, bacon, and cranberry relish packed into a warm flatbread.
For those with a sweet tooth, Greggs will offer a range of festive treats, including the Christmas Cake Slice, Gingerbread Muffin, Chocolate & Hazelnut Doughnut, and Christmas Mini Caramel Shortbreads.
To complement the festive treats, Greggs will introduce a selection of hot drinks to keep customers warm this winter. Options include the Mint Mocha, Mint Hot Chocolate, Gingerbread Latte, and Salted Caramel Latte, with the lattes also available iced.
Following the announcement of its festive menu, Greggs confirmed price increases on select items due to rising costs. The two-part breakfast deal, which includes a roll and drink, has been raised from £2.95 to £3.15, while the three-part deal, including a side dish, now costs £4.15. Prices on some baked goods, like the empire biscuit, have also increased by 5p.
Greggs had previously raised the price of its sausage roll by 5p earlier this year, now priced at £1.30.
