The attacker, dressed in all black, suddenly approached her and kicked her before swiftly fleeing the scene.
Expressing shock and displaying visible bruises from the incident, Gallacher emphasized that she was simply minding her business and not provoking any confrontation. Fortunately, witnesses came to her aid, although a nearby security guard failed to intervene, leaving Gallacher feeling disappointed by the lack of assistance.
Having started her broadcasting career with Sky Sports in the late 90s and later returning as a Sky Sports News host in 2011, Gallacher has also worked with other broadcasters such as ITV and Channel 4.
