The White House has disclosed the findings of Donald Trump’s recent MRI examination. According to White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt, the summary from the president’s doctor indicated that Trump’s cardiovascular imaging showed no signs of arterial narrowing affecting blood flow or heart irregularities, describing it as “perfectly normal.” Leavitt further stated that Trump’s overall cardiovascular health was deemed “excellent,” with his major organs appearing healthy and well-functioning.
The doctor’s statement highlighted that advanced imaging was conducted as part of President Trump’s comprehensive executive physical to assess his cardiovascular and abdominal health thoroughly. The purpose of the imaging was preventive in nature, aiming to detect any issues early, confirm his overall well-being, and ensure his long-term health and vitality.
The examination results revealed that Trump’s heart chambers were of normal size, his vessel walls were smooth and healthy, and there were no indications of inflammation or clotting. The assessment concluded that his cardiovascular system exhibited excellent health, and his abdominal imaging also showed normal results, with all major organs functioning within normal parameters without acute or chronic concerns.
Concerns had arisen regarding Trump’s health following observations of bruising on his hand and possible use of makeup to conceal the bruises, along with speculations about swollen ankles. These concerns emerged amidst controversy surrounding Trump’s decision to commute the seven-year prison sentence of David Gentile, who was convicted of billion-dollar fraud alongside Jeffry Schneider, for misleading thousands of investors through fraudulent schemes related to private equity funds managed by their firm, GPB Capital.
Gentile’s early release from prison, just 12 days into his sentence, sparked outrage as he and Schneider were found guilty of securities and wire fraud in August 2024. Despite the significant financial implications of their actions, Trump’s intervention led to Gentile’s swift release, prompting criticism and public scrutiny.
