Dell has announced the revival of its XPS brand, a year after discontinuing it, following backlash from tech experts and consumers. The redesigned XPS laptops, now featuring Windows 11, boast a sleek new look with premium materials like aluminium and Gorilla Glass 3 for durability. The redesigned keyboard and glass touchpad enhance usability and portability, with the new XPS 14 and XPS 16 being Dell’s thinnest laptops yet at 14.6mm.
Powered by Intel’s latest Ultra processors, the new XPS models offer improved performance and efficiency, supported by a redesigned thermal system for temperature control. The inclusion of Intel Arc graphics with 12 cores promises a 50% boost in graphics performance. Moreover, the laptops feature high-density 900ED cells for up to 27 hours of battery life on a single charge.
Other notable features include edge-to-edge touch displays, Dolby Atmos speakers, and a variety of ports for connectivity. Dell unveiled the new XPS laptops at CES 2026, emphasizing their premium design, powerful performance, stunning displays, and long-lasting battery life in a compact form factor designed for mobility.
