Andrew Tate is gearing up for his Misfits Boxing debut against the promotion’s heavyweight champion, Chase DeMoor, scheduled for later this year. Tate, aged 38, brings experience from his successful kickboxing career but had to retire early due to eye injuries affecting his final fights.
After hinting at a move to boxing, Tate will face DeMoor instead of potential opponents Darren Till and Roy Jones Jr. DeMoor, 29, holds the heavyweight title and successfully defended it against Natan Marcon in August.
While Till may miss out on facing Tate, the former UFC title challenger is expected to feature on the undercard with an opponent yet to be confirmed. The event, titled Misfits Mania, is set to take place on December 20 at the Coca Cola Arena in Dubai.
The fight timings are yet to be finalized, but the main card is likely to start around 6pm UK time, with Tate expected to enter the ring first for the main event at approximately 9pm UK time. The event will not be broadcast on DAZN, and a new broadcaster will be chosen, possibly on pay-per-view.
The full fight card, including Andrew Tate vs. Chase DeMoor and Darren Till vs. TBD, will be revealed closer to the event date. Tate expressed his confidence, claiming to be a significant force in sports entertainment and hinting at taking over from KSI in a bold statement.
