Samsung is set to unveil its latest portable projector, the Freestyle+, at CES in Las Vegas. This upgraded version of the previous Freestyle model boasts enhanced AI features, brighter visuals, and a wider range of entertainment options.
The standout feature of the Freestyle+ is its simplified setup process. Users can simply power on the device, and it will automatically adjust the picture using Samsung’s AI OptiScreen technology, eliminating the need for manual adjustments. This feature allows the projector to be used on various surfaces without compromising image quality.
AI OptiScreen also offers additional features like 3D Auto Keystone for correcting image distortion on uneven surfaces, Real-time Focus for maintaining sharpness while moving the projector, Screen Fit for automatic image sizing, and Wall Calibration for adjusting image quality based on the projection surface.
The Freestyle+ is designed for portability, featuring a built-in speaker, Wi-Fi connectivity, and compatibility with popular streaming apps like Netflix, Disney+, and Prime Video. Samsung’s Executive Vice President, Hun Lee, highlighted the device’s adaptability to different environments and its ability to provide a high-quality viewing experience.
While pricing details are yet to be confirmed, the Freestyle+ is expected to hit stores early in 2026, offering users a convenient and intelligent way to enjoy entertainment on-the-go.
