Andrew Balding has admitted to not keeping up with the reality show “Celebrity Traitors,” featuring his sister Clare. The renowned racehorse trainer is currently in a close competition with Aidan O’Brien for the 2025 Flat trainers’ championship, trailing by £600,000 as the season nears its end at Qipco British Champions Day at Ascot.
Despite Clare’s participation in the show, Andrew confessed that he hasn’t found time to watch her performances due to his busy schedule with top racehorses. However, he plans to catch up on the show using iPlayer, possibly during the upcoming half-term break with his kids.
Clare’s journey on “Celebrity Traitors” took a turn when she was voted off the show after being considered a faithful contestant by her peers. Before her departure, she had formed a close bond with Ruth Codd, an Irish actress who met a mysterious fate on the show.
Reflecting on her experience, Codd praised Clare and other contestants like Charlotte Church and Celia Imrie for making her time on the show memorable. She mentioned feeling torn between being a faithful or a traitor at the show’s start but ultimately embraced her loyalty throughout the competition.
The show has seen its share of dramatic exits, with notable personalities like Tom Daley and Paloma Faith meeting their demise at the hands of the traitors. YouTube sensation Niko Omilana and EastEnders actress Tameka Empson were also eliminated in separate Round Table discussions.
The evolving dynamics of “Celebrity Traitors” continue to keep viewers engaged as contestants navigate alliances and betrayals in their quest for the championship title.
