“Backstreet Boys Set to Break Records in Toronto”

Must Read

The famed Backstreet Boys are set to dazzle their Canadian supporters with a string of performances in Toronto early next year. The renowned ’90s boy band will present Into the Millennium — Homecoming: Live in Canada at Toronto’s Rogers Centre in February, featuring a nine-night series that the group touts as their exclusive North American stadium shows for 2027. This achievement marks the record for the most evenings performed by an artist at the Toronto venue, surpassing previous records set by The Weeknd and Taylor Swift, as reported by Billboard.

The band unveiled the initial four Toronto shows through a social media post last Friday, accompanied by a flashy promotional video showcasing the quintet boarding a plane adorned with their band name and a red maple leaf. Due to overwhelming demand, the group has expanded the event with an additional five dates this week.

Expressing gratitude for the unwavering support from their Canadian fan base, Backstreet Boys member Brian Littrell stated, “Canada was one of the first places to embrace us, and the love and support we’ve received from our fans there has meant so much from the very beginning. Coming back feels incredibly special.” These upcoming Toronto concerts follow the group’s successful Into the Millennium series at the immersive Sphere venue in Las Vegas in 2025.

Following the sold-out residency in Las Vegas, Backstreet Boys continued their success with additional shows around New Year’s Day and now bring their production to Germany for a series of 10 performances in Düsseldorf. The group acknowledges Germany as the first country to fully embrace their music during their early days.

Similarly to their Las Vegas and Düsseldorf shows, the Toronto performances will pay homage to Backstreet Boys’ iconic 1999 album, Millennium, which sold approximately 24 million copies worldwide. This album features hit tracks like “I Want It That Way,” “Larger Than Life,” and “Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely.” In addition to these classics, the Toronto setlist will include fan favorites from other albums, such as “Everybody (Backstreet’s Back)” and rarely performed songs like “The Perfect Fan,” as confirmed by host Rogers and promoter Live Nation Canada.

Backstreet Boys are scheduled to take over Toronto with performances on February 12, 13, 14, 19, 20, 21, 26, 27, and 28. Ticket sales to the public commence on October 9, with various presale opportunities leading up to the general release.
