Impressed by the chairs’ resilience, Meg’s partner fixed them up, and they enjoyed using them by the fire pit with a glass of wine. This incident deepened Meg’s appreciation for the dump. Subsequently, she seized an opportunity to work part-time at the dump on Saturdays from April to November while maintaining a full-time job in media.
Initially expecting to guide people on sorting their items at the transfer station, Meg was surprised by the emotional aspect of the job.
